About Jeep Liberty
The Jeep Liberty is a four-door uni-body compact SUV developed by Jeep from 2002 to 2012, with the design of a true off-roader. The off-road performance was splendid and the interior was creative, with satin aluminum accents on the center stack as well as the steering wheel and gauges. The design was initially inspired by the Dakar and Jeepster concept and replaced Cherokee after its appearance. The Jeep Liberty has developed two generations in total, named KJ and KK. The KJ lasted from 2002 to 2007. With an extremely strong off-road performance, the vehicle was equipped with a balance-shaft 3.7-liter SOHC V6 engine, producing the power of 210 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 225 foot-pounds of torque at 4,000 rpm. The towing strength counted up to 5,000 pounds for the automatic transmission and the model was only available of 4-wheel drive. The Vehicle is designed for four-seated and is separated into three trims, known as the Limited level, the Renegade level, and the base Sport level. In 2007 the Renegade was replaced by the Latitude with its distinctive hood and grille removed. The production ended in the same year and was succeeded by the second generation, Jeep Liberty KK.
