About Jeep Commander
The Jeep Commander is a mid-size crossover SUV produced and marketed by Jeep from 2005 to 2010 and since 2021. It was first designed as the successor of the same brand's Grand Cherokee (WJ) and was given the nameplate of XK or XH for the diesel-powered export version. The 2022 version started in 2021, was based on the second-generation Compass, and was mainly sold in emerging markets like India and Latin America. The 2022 model was also called Jeep Meridian in India.
In 2005, the first-generation Jeep Commander made its debut at the 2005 New York Auto Show as a five- or seven-passenger SUV, serving as the counterpart of the Liberty. It was a three-row SUV but was only two inches longer than the Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was a two-row, and they shared the same production line, as well as the unibody construction, independent short/long arm front suspensions, and 5-link live rear axles. Electronic stability control, traction control, immobilizer, electronic roll mitigation, backup sensors, side curtain airbags, TPMS, power heated mirrors, automatic headlights, remote keyless entry, UConnect infotainment system, and one full-size spare wheel were available as standard, and automatic wipers, hands-free phone integration, remote start, hill start assist were offered for option. Regardless of the trims, we are available in most parts of the vehicle. The parts are from the original factory developed by the development team.
