About Jaguar XKR-S
The Jaguar XKR-S was a variant of the Jaguar XKR second-generation model known for its high performance. It was manufactured and marketed by Jaguar from 2008 to 2014. Like all other sibling models from the same series, the Jaguar XKR-S was provided in two different body types, a 3-door hatchback coupe, and a 2-door convertible. The assembly lines for the XKR-S were at the Castle Bromwich Assembly in Birmingham, England. The design for the body structure and the parts and accessories of the XKR-S was conducted by the company's Special Vehicles team. The setup for the suspension was also revised to meet the needs. Other modified parts and accessories included an S Alcon R Performance braking system that had front and rear brake discs with 400 mm and 350 mm diameters, Ultimate Black body color, a 10 mm lower ride height, recalibrated suspension, 6-piston front calipers, and 4-piston rear calipers, a set of 20-inch Vortex-forged alloy wheels with bespoke tires, leather upholstery for the interior design, piano black veneer, a charcoal Alston luxury headliner, and an active exhaust system.
