About Jaguar XJ12
The Jaguar XJ12 was one of the company's XJ X300 models manufactured and marketed by the British multinational car manufacturer. The X300 was a full-size luxury sedan series available from 1994 to 1997. It was the first XJ that was produced entirely under Ford ownership. The design for the sedan emphasized improving build quality, reliability, performance, and the return to traditional Jaguar styling elements by adopting matching parts and accessories.
Under the leadership of the Design Director in 1991, Geoff Lawson, the whole series of the XJ12 received several updates. The parts and accessories for the exterior included a fluted curvaceous bonnet, four separate round headlamps, new wrap-around rear light clusters, and the rear wings to accommodate them. The bumper was changed into a fully integrated body-colored one. The interior parts and accessories of the XJ12 shared some similarities with the XJ40 cars. The revised pieces included a rounder profile, a beveled-edge wood trim, and a redesigned steering wheel.

The Jaguar XJ12 was a luxury trim level for the X300 models. It was also coded as the X305 to show the difference. Its powering system was given a 6.0L Jaguar V12 engine. Other powertrain parts included only the choice of a 4-speed GM 4L80-E automatic transmission. The exterior style featured a rear boot-lid "XJ12" badge and a "V12" insignia inlaid on the passenger-side dashboard wood panel and on every B-pillar. The redesigned parts and accessories included chromed door mirrors and a gold-colored Jaguar crest at the top of the radiator grille surround. The XJ12 also got 225/55-16 tires on 8-inch-wide wheels and sports suspension. The XJ12 was provided in a short-wheelbase version in 1995 and a long-wheelbase version in 1996. The XJ12 was given many functions for better performance and quality including an on-board diagnostics system.
