About Isuzu i-280

The Isuzu i-280 was one of the models from the Isuzu i-series models. It was an extended-cab pickup truck with a rear-wheel-drive layout. The i-280 debuted at the 2005 New York International Auto Show for the 2006 model year. It was introduced to replace the Hombre which was discontinued in 2000. The production was discontinued in 2008. The i-series adopted the compact Chevrolet S-10/GMC Sonoma as the basis.

The i-280 was given a 2.8L 4-cylinder engine for its powering system. The powertrain was able to produce 175 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. The standard pairing parts of the Isuzu i-280 were usually a 5-speed manual transmission, but customers could also choose a 4-speed automatic as a replacement. In 2007, the car had a lift in performance by introducing the new 2.9L engine to the model. The vehicle also had many standard parts and accessories for its good safety considerations.
