About Infiniti I35
The Infiniti I35 was one of the third-generation models of the Nissan Cefiro series for the North American market. The vehicles from this series were mid-size luxury front-engine cars that could handle 5 passengers. Most of the vehicles under the nameplate were 4-door sedans, but some of the models were produced and marketed as 5-door station wagons. The Infiniti I35 debuted in 2002 and was introduced by the company as a variant of its predecessor, the I30. It could be seen from the naming that the two models had a close relationship. The I35 held an upgraded 3.5L VQ35DE V6 engine while the former North American one held a 3.0L VQ30DE-K V6 one. The Infiniti I35 was supported by 255 horsepower from the powertrain parts including a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The Infiniti I35 had a facelift for both the power system and other standard parts. The upgraded parts included larger badging for the exterior decoration, a horizontal front grill, a revised trunk lid, standard fog lights, high-intensity xenon headlights, combination lamps, and a low-restriction exhaust with a chrome finisher. It also got painted door handles instead of chromed ones.

The model of the Infiniti I35 was designed at the Nissan Technical center which is located in Atsugi, Japan. The design of the vehicle featured a coefficient of drag of f.31 while the .30 version models were offered with a rear spoiler and the interior space for passengers reached 120 cubic feet. The strut and the coil spring front suspension were installed to the I35 along with speed-sensitive power rack-and-pinion steering, a torsion beam rear suspension which was independently marketed under the name of Multi-Link Beam, and front and rear stabilizer bars.
The Infiniti I35 got satisfying parts. With seats being leather-appointed and the Infiniti logo embroidered on their backs, the interior was presented with a tasteful look. Other parts included simulated birdseye maple accents on the center console which also got an expanded version of a vertical ashtray and surround later, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat with manual lumbar support, and an automatic driver's seat for moving fore/aft for the entry/exit. It also had a temporary spare tire in case of emergency.
