The Hyundai Venue is a 5-door SUV model which is produced and marketed by the South Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai. The subcompact crossover SUV model is the company's seventh offering to the market. The Venue was Hyundai's smallest crossover model in the lineup which is only behind the Kona model. The Venue is able to get a Hyundai-Kai K2 platform for its production. The platform formerly belonged to the Hyundai Accent model.
The Hyundai Venue has two types of vehicles to offer. The Korean-made vehicle is named the QX or QX1 model. The wheelbase of the QX is 99.2 inches while it is 159.1 inches in length and 61.6 to 62.4 inches in length according to its trim level. The Hyundai Venue QX weighs 2452 to 2758 lb. The Indian-oriented Venue is shorter than the former one in wheelbase and length. The model is named as QXi and weighs 2310 lb. Its length is 157.3 inches, and its wheelbase is 98.4 inches. The QX assembly lines are at the Ulsan Plant3 which is in Ulsan, South Korea while the QXi lines are at HMIL in Chennai, India.

Customers have a large range of choices for their engine parts, including petrol engines like a 1.0L inline 3-cylinder T-GDi, a 1.2L inline 4-cylinder MPi, and a 1.6L 4-cylinder Gamma Mpi, and a 1.6L 4-cylinder Smart stream MPi. There are also two types of diesel engines. For the North American market, the 1.6L Smart stream engine is offered as one of the standard Hyundai Venue parts. It can produce the Venue with 121 horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission for its basic SE trim level or an intelligent variable transmission for the SEL trim level. The SE and SEL are the two levels provided to the North American market. The manual transmission option was discontinued in 2021 and the SE can now choose the other one.
The exterior of the Hyundai Venue still follows the trend of the brand's other SUV models. However, a fancier taste is given by adding restyled parts such as a bolder cascading grille and dressy rims. Additional parts like square headlights are also installed under the running lights. Due to the fancy outside, the interior parts are designed in a simpler way with clean lines and simple controls.
