About Hyundai Veloster
The Hyundai Veloster is a hatchback coupe. It was first launched in 2011. The car differs from many of its competitors with an asymmetrical door configuration. It has one large door on the driver's side and two smaller doors on the passenger side. This configuration is more common on trucks and vans. In North America, it is equipped with Blue Link. It is a new telematics system. It will eventually become standard on all Hyundai models. The system is similar to GM's OnStar system for vehicles. It offers customers automatic crash reporting, vehicle diagnostics, and remote control of vehicle functions. The Coupe is powered by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder, direct-injection gasoline engine. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard, while a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox with paddle shifters is available as an option. The DCT transmission was developed by Hyundai and is the company's first two-speed gearbox.
Veloster is available in left- and right-hand drive. The large door is always on the driver's side. The two smaller doors are on the passenger's side. Therefore, the rear passenger always goes toward the side and the road. The Turbo is equipped with a 1.6-liter T-GDi Gamma engine. Its power output varies depending on the market. The Turbo was unveiled at the 2012 North American International Auto Show as a concept car with a special graphics package. It featured gray and yellow stripes along the length of the vehicle and yellow detailing on the front, side, and rear spoilers. The 2011 ARK Performance Hyundai Veloster is a redesigned rally-style Hyundai Veloster. It was originally built for the SEMA show without a turbocharger. The engine is rated at 210 hp. It features a new twin-scroll turbo, intercooler, downpipes, and an ARK-developed dual exhaust system. Other changes include an oil cooler, coil spring suspension, and new ECU guards. The bodywork was finished in green and black.

The Veloster N is more powerful than the base Hyundai Veloster models. It also features adaptive dampers and a special N suspension. All N models came standard with the optional Performance package until recently. They have even more power and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential.
