About Hyundai Tucson
The Hyundai Tucson is a compact crossover SUV model manufactured and marketed by the South Korean automobile manufacturer. The 5-door SUV was introduced to the market in 2004 and is still in production and marketing today. With the release of the second generation, the model was shortly known as the Hyundai ix35 from 2009 to 2015. The name was changed back to Tucson after 2016 as the third generation was brought to replace the former one. The Hyundai Tucson keeps the honor as the company's best-selling SUV model to this day.
The first generation of the Hyundai Tucson was introduced as a smaller substitute for the Hyundai Santa Fe. The two SUV models not only shared a tradition of being named after famous sightseeing but also shared a Hyundai Elantra-based platform. This allowed the two vehicles to have similar parts. The Tucson had 3 trim levels for the customers to choose from. The most basic one was the GLS model. It was offered only with a 2.0L 4-cylinder Beta as the core of the engine parts. The trim level in the middle was a SE model. Together with the highest Limited level, they were provided with the 2.7L Delta V6 for their powering parts. Vehicles of all three levels were all equipped with a set of alloy wheels, an electronic stability control, air conditioning, six airbags, premium cloth seats, and the remote keyless entry. The SE level had the option for a different alloy design, a front windshield wiper de-icing grid, and a contrasting gray body cladding. The Limited had automatic climate control, leather seating surfaces, body-colored cladding, and heated seats.

The second generation was introduced in 2009. A small facelift was given in 2013, allowing the Tucson dealers to choose from more engine parts. The third generation of the Tucson was in 2015 with modifications in the size of the vehicle structure. The length, the width, and the wheelbase of the SUV were all increased. And more security parts were added to the model from this generation, including auto-braking for pedestrians and cars, blind-spot detection, and lane departure warning.
The latest generation of the Hyundai Tucson is the fourth generation released in 2020. It had geometric daytime running lights in the design and gives the model a jewel-like grille. A new N3 platform is used in production. The joining of the new platform allows Tucson to be provided in two different wheelbases in order to meet the different standards of different customers.
