About Hyundai Equus
The Hyundai Equus is a luxury sedan with 4 doors under the Hyundai brand. Production of Hyundai Equus begins in 1999. Equus is assembled in Ulsan, South Korea (Hyundai Motor Company Ulsan Plant), and Kaliningrad, Russia (Avtoto). This Equus makes its debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show. Equus US models were sold in markets in 2013 as 2014 model year vehicles. In the US, only the Tau 5.0 GDi engine was provided to users.
The first generation of Hyundai Equus is manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Hyundai Motor Company. It is assembled in Ulsan, South Korea. Equus with longitudinal front-engine and front-wheel-drive is powered by a petrol engine. It is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Equus offers different models with different wheelbases and lengths while the width of all models is the same. The sedan is 2,840–2,850 mm (111.8–112.2 in) in wheelbase while the limousine is 3,080–3,090 mm (121.3–121.7 in).
