About Hyundai Accent
The Hyundai Accent is a subcompact car produced by Hyundai. It serves as a replacement for its predecessor, the Excel. The name stands for Advanced Compact Car of Epoch-making New Technology. Five generations were produced. And its production continues today. Its assembly bases are all over the world for local sales, mostly in developing countries, such as China, India, and Indonesia.
The Accent made its debut for the 1995 model year. As for the body style, it was initially offered in two kinds: a 4-door sedan or a 3/5-door hatchback. As for the detailed dimensions, the Hyundai Accent sedan has a wheelbase of 94.5 in. It measures 162.1 in in length, 63.8 in in width, and 54.9 in in height. The curb weight ranges from 2,101 to 2,150 lb (953–975 kg). The hatchback version has the same dimensions except for the length, which comes in at 161.4 in. As for its exterior and interior, the latest 2022 vehicle offers trim levels: the SE, SEL, and Limited. Whatever the trim levels, it features a comfy interior and fashionable appearance.

Produced for over two decades, the Hyundai Accent has undergone a great number of revisions and upgrades on its accessory and classic parts throughout its production. All these efforts were made for better performance. Take the essential engine parts for example. When the model was first released, it was equipped with a 1.5L inline four-cylinder engine, which can produce 92 horsepower. It's mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic. As time went by, a 1.6L four-cylinder became available for the second-generation Accent. This one can deliver 104 horsepower.
The model has received much acclaim from all the drivers and retailers for its efficient performance and affordable prices. When it comes to its safety features and solid parts, the Accent offers much security. Front-seat airbags become standard parts in 2003 on GL versions. Antilock brakes became optional on all the 2005 Accent models. The Hyundai Accent was awarded the most dependable subcompact car by J.D. Power and Associates in 2008.
