About Honda Odyssey
The Honda Odyssey is a multi-purpose recreational vehicle introduced by Honda Giken Industries in 1994. Since 1999, this car is produced by Guangzhou Automobile Honda in the mainland China market. From the second generation onwards, there are two versions: US and Japanese, with the US version being larger than the Japanese version. The second generation (1999-2004) was imported to Japan and was named LaGreat. Both versions of the Honda Odyssey have developed five generations till the present.
The first generation was based on the Accord platform and was equipped with a 2.2L or 2.3 L 4-cylinder engine, accompanied by all-disc anti-lock brakes, an all-wishbone suspension, and a four-speed automatic transmission. It was a unibody design, performing 20 percent stronger than the Accord system. There are two levels of trims, known as the LX and EX levels. The second-generation Honda Odyssey North America was first assembled in Canada and went back to Japan in 1999. The space of this version was greatly improved as the commercial said to be "a Space Odyssey". The size was indeed enlarged and adopted the Chrysler-style minivan format. The model used a 210 hp (157 kW) V6 engine, replacing the previous 4-cylinder one. It had a facelift version released in 2002.

The third generation Honda Odyssey was introduced for the 2005 model year, with extended width and growing in weight. The big spice was kept and the length remained unchanged. The engine was powered up to 255 hp (190 kW), accompanied by the Variable Cylinder Management system. The fuel economy was 20 mpg-US (12 L/100 km; 24 mpg-imp)/28 mpg-US (8.4 L/100 km; 34 mpg-imp) for the 2005 model year, which was re-rated to 17/25 for VCM equipped models and 16/23 for non-VCM equipped models. In 2008, the facelift was released and in Canada, an entry-level DX was added to the trims.
The fourth generation Honda Odyssey received a larger, wider body, a lower roofline, and revised styling. Its engine was shifted to a 3.5 L J35Z8 V6 that produces the power of 248 bhp (185 kW) at 5700 rpm and 250 lb-ft (339 N·m) of torque at 4800 rpm. The fifth was unveiled in 2017, adding a new 10-speed automatic transmission for the first time reducing 29 lb (13 kg) compared with the previous 6-speed. It is equipped with a 3.5 L J35Y6 V6 engine making 280 hp (210 kW) of power at 6,000 rpm and 262 lb-ft (355 N·m) of torque at 4,700 rpm.
