The Honda CR-V is a type of compact crossover SUV introduced and produced by Honda began in 1996. The fifth-generation Honda CR-V was predicted to go on sale in December 2016 for the 2017 model year. The Earth Dream 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine with the power of 184hp and 180lb-ft is used in some entry models, while the main model will use a 1.5-liter DOHC turbo engine with 190hp and 179lb-ft, code-named L15B. Although the two engines produce similar power, the turbocharged engine will be able to reach the high point of torque output at 2000 to 5000rpm. The "Honda Sense" safety package, previously available only in the highest Touring class, will become standard in the EX class and above, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking (CMBS), and Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS). The new safety package such as Blind Spot Information (BSI) with Rear Cross Traffic Monitor (CTM) replaces the "LaneWatch" system installed in the previous Honda CR-Vs. The headlights with Auto High Beam (HSS) will also be installed on the current model.
