About Chevrolet Sprint

The Chevrolet Sprint is a supermini car market by Chevrolet since 1985 and is a North American version model whose prototype was from Japan. The Chevy has lasted for two generations. The vehicle was offered computer-controlled carb systems. From 1985 to 1988, the carbureted 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine was accompanied by a hemispherical head design. And later, fuel injection technology required a redesign of the 1989 cylinder heads to add the extra cooling needed, which was able to reduce gas mileage.
As for the engines, the turbocharged versions of the 1.0-liter three-cylinder edition were offered in the Turbo version in both the United States and Canada since the 1987 model year. An IHI RHB32 turbocharger was applied in the fuel-injected Chevy. The colors offered were limited to white and red. As for its dimensions and parts, the 3-door version model had a 2,245 mm (88.4 in) wheelbase, while the 5-door version was equipped with a 2,345 mm (92.3 in) one. The curb weight ranged from 620 to 750 kg (1,367–1,653 lb), which contains a width of 1,530–1,545 mm (60.2–60.8 in) and a height of 1,350 mm (53.1 in).
