The Spark EV was a 5-door hatchback battery electric vehicle produced by Chevrolet from 2013 to 2016. It was aimed to meet the government's request to increase the penetration of electric automobiles into the fleet of all operating vehicles on the road, so the market is limited to the states that have such government rules. For the engine, it features an electric motor named AC Permanent-Magnet Motor which could produce 97kW or 130bhp of power. Based on the Gamma platform, two types of batteries are available, known as the MY 2015+ and MY 2014, respectively have a volume of 19kWh and 21.3kWh. According to the EPA test, the electric range of the Chevy can reach 132km or 82 miles.
