About BMW M4
The BMW M4 is a high-performance vehicle belonging to the BMW 4 Series coupes and convertibles developed by BMW and has been marketed since 2014. As parts of the renumbering separated from the 3 Series into the 4, the BMW M4 was their replaced model. Upgrades compared to the predecessors included engine, suspension, exhaust system, brakes, and weight reduction measures such as the increased use of carbon fiber on the roof of the car. The BMW M4 has now come to its second generation, which was newly released in 2021.
The first-generation BMW M4 was first introduced as a concept in August 2013 and went on sale in 2014. Carbon fiber reinforced composites are widely used in the BMW M4, including driveshafts, roof, roof rails, tailgate, and front brackets. The electronic servo power steering system is also used for the first time, and it will be adapted to the specific requirements of M4. M synthetic brakes (blue) will be standard, while M carbon-ceramic brakes (gold) are available as an option. BMW claims that this technology is used because the cabin is effective in isolating road/wind noise, but still wants to provide the driver with the dynamic sound of an M-powered engine. It will not have any artificial audio or pre-selected recorded tracks.

The brand introduced the BMW M4 GTS concept at the Pebble Beach Auto Show in August 2015. It is a track-competitive version of the standard BMW M4 coupe and will be limited to 700 units. Again, this car was powered by the original 3.0-liter twin-turbo I6 engine, but with an increase in horsepower to 500 PS (368 kW; 493 hp), thanks in large part to its water-injected cooling system, which was used in production cars for the first time in nearly 20 years. In addition to the increase in horsepower, the dual-clutch version differs from the original BMW M4 in that it weighs 27 kg (60 lbs) less than the original, or 1,510 kg (3,330 lbs). Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h has been improved to just 3.8 seconds, while top speed has reached 305 km/h (190 mph). This model sold out the following year and BMW would replace it with another, slightly slower, BMW M4 CS model.
