About BMW 650i
In the traditional classification, the 6 Series now stands out for its size and body style. The BMW 650i uses a scaled-down version of the E60 platform, so it has many of the same parts. It is powered by a V10 S85, while most M6 models were equipped with a seven-speed automated manual transmission.
The exterior was designed by Adrian van Heudonk, based on the Z9 prototype created in 1999 by then the company design chief Chris Bangle. The design philosophy of the BMW 650i is described as a "dramatic surface" where concave and convex shapes merge into sharp edges. Parts like the doors and hood are made of aluminum to reduce weight, while the tailgate and front wings are made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. The convertibles feature an unusual folding roof with side skirts and an integrated windshield that can be raised or lowered at any time.

In September 2007, a facelift for 2008 was released. At the same time, 650i models got a Sport Edition with a stiffer brake caliper and a new exhaust system. Parts like adaptive headlights, parking sensors, voice control, controls on the steering wheel, active stability control, and a head-up display are all available on the BMW 650i. A lane departure warning, night vision, keyless start and engine start, a universal remote control, and soft door locking are some of the other parts.
In terms of the exterior, the headlights were unusually small for the size of the car. The large, wide grille is one of the BMW 650i's distinctive features. The aerodynamically shaped bumper has three air intakes to cool the engine and front brakes. The side doors and bumpers accentuate the car's dynamic appearance. Inside, the 650i was a GT-style luxury car with two front seats. The trunk had limited space for three passengers.
