Stylistically, the BMW 528i has replaced the classic modern look of the current generation with new millennium styling. The new body has a modern look, with more streamlined contours, expressive character lines and a wide hood that extends to the front end and incorporates the familiar twin-tube grille. However, there are enough familiar parts to keep the car recognizable as a BMW. The rounded bodywork cleverly conceals the fact that the 528i is physically larger. The overall length has increased by 2.2 inches. This means more room in the cabin.
