About BMW 428i
The BMW 428i is a mid-size line of cars produced by the German automaker BMW, available as a coupe model since October 5, 2013, intending to replace the existing 3 Series to further differentiate the sportier coupe. It is a model that belongs to the 4 series. The concept of the series was first unveiled to the public in Munich in December 2012 and was first presented at the Detroit Auto Show the following January. The convertible version BMW 428i, equipped with a hardtop folding convertible, was later introduced to the market on March 8, 2014. The premium coupe version, which combines both convertible and coupe elements, is available as a gasoline-powered 428i and other parallel models.
The BMW 428i was first released as a coupe at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Besides most features of its predecessors, the BMW 428i was equipped with 2+2 seats. BMW also increased the front wheelbase of 428i by 1.8 inches to 60.8 inches, and the rear wheels by 3.1 inches to 62.7 inches. Its overall width was 71.9 inches, 1.7 inches more than its predecessors, and its height dropped 0.6 inches to 53.6 inches. The total length was 182.7 inches. The three divisions of the BMW 428i were revealed respectively in 2013 and 2014. All the models are powered by petrol and most are available with all-wheel-drive. Available equipment included a head-up display, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and LED headlights. The engine was a 2.0 L N20 turbo I4 which generates 180 kW (241 hp) power at 5,000–6,000 rpm and 350 Nm (258 ft-lb) torque at 1,250–4,800 rpm.
