About BMW 328i
The BMW 328i is one model among the huge BMW 3 series developed and manufactured by BMW and is classified as a compact executive car. The 328i began in the third version in 1990 coded as E36, and the following generations were coded as E46, E90, and F30, respectively began in 1997, 2004, and 2011. It is the brand’s best-selling model and has won enormous awards throughout its history.
The first BMW 328i was released in 1990 and started production the next year. It was sold in sedan, coupe, convertible, wagon, or hatchback (for the first time in the whole series). Also, it was the first model available with a 6-speed manual transmission, along with a 5-speed automatic transmission and a four-cylinder diesel engine. For its good performance, the model was listed in the Car and Driver magazine's 10Best every year.

Then the BMW 328i shifted to the E46 period in 1997 and was also sold in the following body styles: sedan, coupé, convertible, wagon, and hatchback. Compared to the previous generation, the new 328i added an array of electronic features, including satellite navigation, electronic brake-force distribution, rain-sensing wipers, and LED tail-lights. The vehicle was equipped with a 2.8 L M52TUB28 inline-6 engine producing 142 kW (190 hp) and 280 N·m (207 lb-ft) torque. It was only a small part of the whole series, which only lasted till 2000.
The BMW 328i went into the E90 era in 2004 and was given a major change. It was sold as a "Sports Wagon" in the North American market beginning in 2007 and was option equipped with a panoramic sunroof. For the engine, the car featured an N53B30 straight-6 N.A. producing 172 kW (231 hp) at 6,500 rpm and 270 Nm (200 lb-ft) at 2,750 rpm. The BMW 328i F30 version was launched in 2012 and ended production in 2015. This time it was equipped with an N20B20 straight-4 engine and the output was again improved.
