About Acura Legend

The Acura Legend is a mid-size luxury car manufactured by Honda. Its production began in 1985 and was discontinued in 1995. Two generations of Legend were produced, with 1990 as a cut-off point. Its assembly base is located in Saitama, Japan. In terms of the body style, it is offered in two kinds: a two-door coupe or a four-door sedan.
As for the first-generation Legend, it was first introduced in North America as the top-of-the-line model for the Acura lineup. In the automotive design, the vehicle adopts a transverse front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. The Legend was marketed with the advertising slogan "Precision Crafted Performance". The sedan models are powered by a 2.5 L C25A V6 which produces 151 hp, while coupes are powered by a new and more powerful 2.7 L C27A. When other luxury cars were automatic-only, the Legend offered a manual-transmission option. Besides, a "Wing Turbo" was available later. It permits the A/R ratio to be changed in accordance to speed and driving conditions.
